Dla Xportalu: Nick Griffin (PL/ENG)

d RedakcjiPrezentujemy wywiad z europarlamentarzystą i liderem Brytyjskiej Partii Narodowej Nickiem Griffinem przeprowadzony przez wysłanników Falangi i Xportal.pl podczas Misji do Syrii.

Jestem w Syrii, ponieważ rząd brytyjski wykorzystuje brytyjskich żołnierzy i pieniądze brytyjskich podatników do ingerencji w całym świecie muzułmańskim.

W niektórych miejscach zdewastowało to kulturowo rdzennych Brytyjczyków. Ale ogólnie powinniśmy zawrzeć z nimi pokój i islam, a z całą pewnością ci, którzy dążą do islamizacji, powinni opuścić Zachód – mężczyźni, kobiety i dzieci. Nie chodzi tu o starcie cywilizacji. Muzułmanie z Zachodu powinni udać się do krajów islamskich, by tam dbać o własne sprawy i wykuwać własny los, zamiast narzucać swoje koncepcje innym. Wielka Brytania to dziś beczka prochu.

Problem imigracji z Polski i Europy Wschodniej to kwestia liczby. To niewiarygodne. To szaleństwo. To nieuczciwe wobec naszego narodu.”

To część naszej tradycji, prawdziwa jedność w różnorodności.

Nie jesteśmy tu, by bronić kapitalizmu czy go naprawiać.

Należał do innej tradycji. Przyszedłem do BNP z Frontu Narodowego. Ludzie Mosleya mieli o to wiele żalu. Kilku wstąpiło do Frontu, niektórzy są tam dalej – bardzo wiekowi ludzie, ale większość powiedziała „Mosley to nasz wódz, jesteśmy mu wierni.” Zatem nie ma tu bezpośredniego nawiązania. Ideologicznie, jeśli ktoś wywarł wpływ na BNP, to byłby to G.K. Chesterton, katolicki dystrybucjonista. Chestertona, bratanka G.K. Chestertona i założyciela Frontu Narodowego. Więc jeśli mielibyśmy doszukiwać się wpływów z zagranicy to właśnie tam. Ale głownie wypływa on z obecnej w historii Anglii tradycji antyimperialistów, radykałów, działaczy obrony praw zwykłych ludzi i drobnych posiadaczy.

Życzę wam powodzenia we wszystkich działaniach.

From the Editors: We present an interview with Nick Griffin – member of the European Parlaiment and the leader of British National Party. The interview took place in Damascus where members of Falanga and editors of Xportal went with their mission to Syria.

We’ve had an opportunity to meet in Damascus. Could you tell us why are you here?

I’m here in Syria, because the British government has used British soldiers and British taxpayer’s money to interfere throughout the Muslim world. Each interference, whether it’s Iraq, Afghanistan, Egypt or smaller step in Libya, has been a total disaster in terms of  British lives and British money lost, and in international terms, damage was done to British reputation. These are not just wars, they’re wars which are deeply harmful. So I’m here to go back and say: “I saw for myself the situation in Syria and the reasons that Britain shouldn’t be involved.”

Regarding the current situation in Britain, how would you like to resolve the problem of non-European immigration and immigrants from outside Europe who are already there, in the UK?

The first step to resolve the immigration problem is to shut the doors, because it’s still getting worse at the rate of several hundred thousand a year net. When you consider the number of Britons who are leaving and numbers coming in, it’s a population exchange rate of  at least half million a year, which is a catastrophic thing. On top of that there is the demographic issue, with several of the immigrant populations having far higher birthrate than us. So the native British are already a minority in the first city London, in the second city Birmingham. So it has to be stopped and it has to be reversed. Our position is that the whole multicultural, multiracial experiment, was imposed on British people undemocratically and it is not in our interest. It is not in the interest of the immigrant community either, so it should be reversed. We accept that it is impossible to say “Everybody must leave.” It is politically unsailable, it is morally unjustifiable, because we the British people sat back when our elites did this and we can’t blame the immigrants. But when it first started, we were promised, that the criminals would be expelled, so criminal immigrants should be expelled. People who don’t’ contribute to our society, should not have a right to claim on our society. And people who aren’t; loyal to our society, shouldn’t be there either. We regard, that there are different kinds of immigrants, and you have to treat different groups fairly, because they are different. For example we have some 800 thousand or 900 Sikhs, and these are people with long and proud history of serving Britain in imperial days. They have integrated with the British society. We are very happy to see Sikhs keep their culture. We believe that Sikh girls should marry Sikh boys, and our boys and girls should do the same. We are happy to see the preserve their own culture, we want that. We don’t want them to become “Brown Britons” but we recognize them to be a people that could be assimilated in our society a whole as loyal, British Sikhs. So we have no particular problem with them. Having said that I say to my Sikh friends, that they should not have been allowed in the numbers they came. It devastated the culture of the Native English in some areas, and it we were in power, instead of giving India foreign aid as we do now, we would say that if we’re going to give any foreign aid, it must be tied to Indian concessions to a Sikh homeland, and to the end of the persecution of the Sikhs in India. And at this point, it is my guess that half of the Sikhs in Britain would be happy to return to their homeland. If it was safe to do so, if we had good trade agreements with that place. That would reduce the pressure of numbers on our internal structure and on our culture and be a solution which everybody is happy with. There is one population which there is a special problem, and that is the Muslim population. Although there is a several hundred thousand from the Middle East, who are refugees from extreme Islamist areas, overwhelmingly most Muslims in Britain come from several populations particularly Pakistan, Afghanistan, Somalia where their culture and attitudes are so different from ours, and there is an engrained wahabbi or deobandi strain of Islam and we are increasingly coming to conclusion that there is no possibility for that community and ours living in peace. Some of the mainstream politicians say about stopping them from wearing the burqa. If we try to do that, to that population it would actually confirm them, they’re all wear the burqa, even the men will wear the burqa as a rebellion. It will not work, so our position there is that the West needs a peace treaty with Islam, I want to review and consider this viewing some things I’ve learned here in Syria – I’m talking about the Sufi tradition and so on. But overall, the West needs a peace treaty with Islam where by overwhelmingly Islam and certainly those who want to islamify other things have to leave the West, men women and child. It is not a clash of civilizations, the Muslims in the West should leave for the land of Islam to run their own affairs, control their own destiny instead of imposing their designs on others. There has to be a fair deal with them and we have to realize we have served these people wrong by bringing them in to our country for cheap labour, and to recognize that this thing is complex as we are dealing with human beings on both sides. It is a bomb waiting to go off from hostility, it has to be defused with gentleness , kindness and decency, and a lot of money. Britain is committed to spending 14 billion pounds, or 16 billion euros every year on foreign aid. And we say that the best foreign aid to give a country like Pakistan is to give some money, but also to give them back people, as we’ve taken doctors, nurses, engineers from those countries in a brain drain, to give those people back to these countries with the money to help them build infrastructure. It will cost us a lot less, than having his time bomb of ethnic and political-religious hatred going off in our hand, which could happen literally any day. Britain is a tinderbox waiting to explode. Our message is that there is no point pretending it is not going to happen or  blaming the messenger. You have to be grownup about it that we have really serious problems, and then come up with really serious and humane solutions.

In Poland we have a problem with massive emigration. We’ve heard about BNP’s action against immigration from Poland, and some of the media in our country announced that this action took place because BNP and you personally are ‘racist. Could you explain our readers, what was the action really about and what is the real problem with immigration from Poland?

The problem of immigration from Poland and whole of Eastern Europe is a question of numbers. In a country where there is not enough space, money, jobs and resources to go around, and it is a problem of national sovereignty in the European Union. My party has members of Polish descent, we always have had. On top of that, they come from some 50 thousand Poles who arrived at the beginning or end of the Second World War, in many cases fought for Britain during the War or came and worked when we needed workers after the war, I’m very proud to have children and grandchildren of those people as members of my party. But there is a huge difference between that and the gigantic flood we have now. In my home town for instance, in Wales, ten years ago we have hear mainly English on the streets and some Welsh. You now hear more Polish than anything else. It is an incredible thing and it is having a terrible effect particularly on British working class. In one generation these people will be British, English even, apart from the name which even they can’t pronounce properly. So it is not an ethnical problem, it is not a cultural problem at all. It is only a question of numbers and again the British people were never asked about it. We believe we should leave the European Union, those people would lose their right to be there. I believe that it would be better for Poland to employ Polish workers as were looking to fill the gap and having the Polish political elite saying “Oh, because the population is falling, we’ve got to import people from the Third World.” For God’s sake don’t! Young Poles should be in Poland to build a better Poland. There is no hostility from us, at all, but the numbers are such that we have to say ‘No. This is madness. It is not fair on our people. And the first job of any government is to look after the interest of its own people.’

You said you want the UK to leave the European Union. What is your vision of Europe? Should Europe integrate politically?

Europe should not integrate politically. Europe has cultural homogeneity, obviously. To a large extent ethnical homogenity as well. That is a part of our tradition and  there is a genuine unity in diversity. But the European Union project is not about making us a better Europe, not even a strong Europe. It is about money, it is about more power for globalist elites, it is essentially a revised socialist project. The sting in the tail is that the same elites doing this want to see Eurabia, a hybrid of Arabic, Muslim – in fact wahabbi – and European civilization which is impossible. That is the Europe they are taking us towards and we see that even the ideal of bringing Europe together – the more they do it, the more in practical terms the more it drives Europe apart. You have had German and Dutch tourists beaten up on the beaches of Spain and Greece, because people blame them for what German bankers are doing to southern Europe. It is monstrous, it is creating hatred. My vision of Europe is a Europe of free nations, the slogan is obviously Europe of a Hundred Flags, which does cooperate but it is done on voluntary basis between sovereign countries. I do believe that there are some things that no one European country can do.  For instance assessing long term our overall relationship with China, developing nuclear fusion it is something that even Europe could not do. Certainly we need Russia for that as well. Dealing with certain environmental problems, not the carbon dioxide business because that is a hoax for big business and the Left but things such as genuine air pollution, and water pollution, overfishing of the seas. These have to be done through cooperation, so I believe that there is a role for European institutions, but the institutions must accept that sovereignty of the nations and the peoples on which rests our freedom, our identity and our democracy has to be primary.

How to resist globalization in post-modern world?

The only possible alternative to globalism is nationalism. Nationalists must understand that we are not a part of right wing. We are not here to protect capitalism, to make capitalism work better. We are her to make an economic system which works for the benefit of the nation and for the people who live in that nation within the bound of what is good for the future generations. That is the purpose of the economy, and that purpose must be secured by the government. And as long nationalists understand that, they understand they have to oppose globalism in every shape and form and not take a reactionary position on social and economic things, not fall into saying that privatization is oh so more efficient, yet individual initiative and reword is more efficient than state control, but it is an excuse to privatize which does not mean to put it in the hands of ordinary people but puts it in the hands of global corporations. The first step to resist is that all nationalists understand that essentially we are a non-Marxist socialist movement. Having understood that, we to work to attain state power and simply reject globalization. It is only a matter of saying that it is not some inevitable historical process, like gravity. Political elites enforce globalization, and new nationalist political elite could stop and reverse globalization and restore our freedoms.

Do you have any historical inspirations for your political beliefs? Like Oswald Mosley for example?

No, in fact. Particularly Mosley. His tradition is different. I came to the British Nationalist Party from the National Front. The NF was founded in 1966. In 1968 Mosley’s Union Movement still tried to contest elections and the NF stood against it. And most of the old mosleyites were very bitter, because Mosley and his supporters had been through all sorts of problems and then the new organization comes and starts pushing them out of the way. Mosley’s people were quite bitter. A few of them were members, they still are – one or two of the very old boys, but most of them just said “Mosley was our man, we re loyal to him.” So there is no direct connection there at all. In ideological terms, if the British National Party is influenced by any individual, its G.K. Chesterton, the Catholic distributist. In economic, social and overall views he in turn came from tradition which went back to an English radical William Cobbett who fought against the ruling elite on behalf of ordinary farmers, soldiers and so on. Our tradition is largely homegrown. The primary European influence on me and British nationalism is particularly Otto Strasser. He was quite a close friend of A.K. Chesterton who was G.K. Chesterton’s nephew who founded the National Front. If there is a foreign influence, it is there. But overwhelmingly, the influence is from radical, small property, rights of ordinary people, anti imperialistic tradition, which ran through English history.

Would you like to say a few words for Polish nationalists from organizations like Falanga and National Rebirth of Poland?

What I would say to all Polish nationalists is, that I have been involve in a small extent to the effort going on to bring Polish nationalists together, and I have thee the pictures from demonstrations staged by your organization, and of course the march November the 11th and more recent ones  I must say it is quite inspiring to see so many young people, particularly self disciplined campaigning for their country and for their own way of doing things. Keep up with that! And resist the temptation that young people always have, I know because I was one once, to see everything in terms of absolute black and white, especially in ideology and organization, and try to find ways to work together. Because if a movement is divided into ten different pieces each on of them may think that they are important, but collectively they are weaker than if they can work together. Always try to unify because, if you want to know what the future of Poland and nationalism will look like, then look at Western Europe. Because it is a matter of 40 years difference. But when I was born in London, it was completely English, except of two small suburbs. Now my people are a minority. I constantly speak to people in Britain who say “Oh it got so much worse in last five-four years, and when I was in school there wasn’t any immigrants around.” There is no shadow of doubt, that the globalists want to see the countries of Eastern Europe multiculturalised and mongrelized out of existence in the same way as they did to the countries of Western Europe. Work together to avoid that happening to Poland and seek to work together with other European nationalists, so it does not happen anywhere in Eastern Europe, and so one day the tide is reversed in the West as well. Good luck with all your efforts.
